About me
Hi, I'm Olaf, a game designer with four years of professional experience, not counting various private projects including being a game master for my TTRPG group.
I have worked on several game projects from the first idea to final release, fulfilling a variety of roles. At times I have been responsible for system-, level-, and narrative design, balancing, project management, play testing, and quality assurance. In my current job, the focus has shifted more to U/UX.
Though I have worked as a producer with great success, I prefer to contribute to the game directly as a game designer. I love to be at the center of the team, to be in direct exchange with programmers, artists, and all members of the team, while I observe the product growing from up close.
Before I decided to follow my passion I earned my degree in physics. I know higher math and I'm not easily intimidated by complex systems. I have a very logical and analytical way of thinking, and an eye for detail.
